Populus is our proprietary web publishing system. It is a flexible web-publishing platform with a sophisticated content management system (CMS). It allows you to edit and create content on your website without additional developer support or technical understanding.
Populus approaches web publishing from the publisher's perspective. Many CMS solutions take a developer approach to web publishing. Technical developers build backend systems based on how they think the web should work. (i)mobius' web publishing experience means we know how publishers create and manipulate content, and how site users navigate web pages. The benefits of working with Populus include the following.
Modular – Populus can be used simply as an emailer, a web publishing engine, a survey manager, CRM solution, or a full e-commerce solution. Additional components can be added as required. This enables our client’s to extend their website functionality as their requirements grow, without having to “rebuild” their website.
Continuous Enhancement - Populus is continually being enhanced and developed as clients require new functionality and technology changes. Clients can optionally request ‘upgrades’ which means that all enhancements are added to their site as released.
